The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested 5 suspects over an N21.5 million pension rip-off within the state.
The suspects are stated to be workers of the Native Authorities Pension Board within the state.
They had been apprehended for alleged prison conspiracy, breach of belief, misappropriation, forgery and fraud amounting to N21,580,000.
This was disclosed by the police spokesman within the state, Ahmed Wakil, through a press release issued on Saturday.
Based on him, the arrest adopted a petition to the state Commissioner of Police by the state governor, Bala Mohammed, by means of his Principal Non-public Secretary.
