BREAKING: Senate confirms Mahmood Yakubu as INEC Chairman
THE Senate has confirmed the appointment of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, as Chairman of the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC for a second time period of 5 years.
The affirmation on Tuesday adopted the consideration of the report of the Senate Committee on INEC, led by Senator Kabiru Gaya, All Progressives Congress, APC, Kano South which submitted its report at plenary and beneficial Yakubu for affirmation.
The Senators who spoke earlier than his affirmation described him as political and extremely certified for the job.
