SAN disowns media advert over his elevation
A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Yusuf Asamah Kadiri has disowned a newspaper congratulatory message revealed final week in a nationwide day by day to have a good time his elevation to the celebrated rank of SAN, insisting he didn’t authorize such publication by his associates.
The Authorized Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) had launched a strict rule, which forbids all newly sworn in Senior Advocate of Nigeria from getting or putting congratulatory adverts within the media, digital, on-line or print.
He mentioned: “It has come to my consideration that a few family and associates and well-wishers have put out congratulatory messages within the media, in celebration of the conferment of the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria on me.
“As understanding because the euphoria of the thrill and pleasure of the quite a few well-wishers are, it is vitally doubtless that they have no idea in regards to the coverage prohibiting the publication of congratulatory advertorials within the newspapers and different social media platforms.

In accordance with him, as a authorized practitioner and a newly admitted member of the Interior Bar, he would proceed to uphold the best requirements and ethics of the authorized occupation.
